“The Word became flesh.” (John 1:14) Can you believe it?  Can you comprehend it?  How utterly amazing that the Word – the Word through which all things were made, seen and unseen – that very Word became flesh!  Oh, how it boggles the mind – God the Son, the Word, true God from true God – becoming flesh.  How amazing that the almighty God would wrap Himself with such frail garb.  How astounding that He who not only made the universe, but fills it – would humble Himself to be contained in the flesh of a human.  True God, yet True Man – the Word became flesh.   As amazing, as astounding as this is – even more so is that He did it all for us; to live for us, to die for us, to save us!  Those blessings of life, forgiveness and salvation are received as He opens His hand to us by faith and distributes the “fullness of His grace.”
