Dear Parents and Students,

SCRIP:

Scrip certificates and gift cards can now be purchased in the principal’s office. You may call in your order and leave it on my voice mail (ext. 148), you may email your order to me, or you may send it with your child if you wish. We will get the order ready for your pick up. Many of you parents have signed up for the SCRIP for Tuition program. If you are, make sure you fill out a purchase form every time you buy SCRIP. That way we can give you the proper credit.

T-Shirts:

We have a number of Christian T-shirts in various sizes in the case outside the principal’s office. These may be purchased for $8.00.

Brown Paper Bag Day of Prayer:

Come one, come all (but only if you are of the female gender) to a special women’s prayer retreat on Saturday, September 19 from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Call Judy Schumacher at 559-9550 or the church at 743-4431ext. 161 to register or for information. Members, nonmembers, mothers, grandmothers, young ladies are all invited.

Greater Than

Come join us for our Contemporary Service of Worship and Praise on September 12th at 5 PM. Greater Than, a praise and worship band from St. Mark in De Pere will lead our songs. All are welcome.

Sing:

Grades K-8 sing this Sunday, September 13, at both the 7:30 and 10:05 services for Christian Education Weekend. The timing of this with the band Greater Than coming on Saturday isn’t the best, but we still encourage you to come to all three services.

Bible Classes:

Bible Classes: Life With God classes begin Thursday, September 10th at 6:30 PM. The Truth Project Bible class also begins on Wednesday, September 9th at 9:30 AM or 6:30 PM. Call Pastor Zessin at 743-4431 ext. 164 for more information.

Chapel: Chapel services will be each Wednesday, starting tomorrow, from 8:00-8:20. Mission offerings collected will go toward Hmong Outreach. Anyone is welcome to join our school children on Wednesdays in praising our God.

Volleyball: Practices are on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Their first matches are this Friday at Immanuel, Manitowoc, beginning at 5:30. If you can help on September 25 when we host our volleyball matches, please call Chris Utecht at 743-3169 for concessions or Miss Smith at 818-0118 for line judging.

Soccer: Practices will begin this Wednesdays for grades 4th-8th, from 3:00-4:30 at the Fair Grounds. This is based on the number of children who signed up for soccer. We currently have only 9 children in Kin.-3rd that have signed up and no coach. Also, because of the low number of 7th-8th graders, we may be canceling our games with Sturgeon Bay and Southern Door Middle Schools and focus just on the tournaments.

Email: If you haven’t already replied to my first emailed newsletter, please do so this week.
