Dear Parents and Students,
Lent Services: Church services are at 10:00 AM and 6:30 PM. Plan to attend the fellowship meal from 5:00 to 6:15, prior to the evening service. The menu for this Wednesday is meatball soup, hot dogs, chips, salad, fruit, and sundaes. Let us walk together to the cross of salvation during the Lenten season.
Thrivent Financial Bridge Grant Funding Grants: Thrivent is offering a one time opportunity for the entire congregation. If the congregation can raise $10,760, designated for the school, Thrivent will match it with $5,380. Everyone at St. Peters can help out! You do not need to be a Thrivent member to help us reach this total. There are no forms but the checks should be designated for the school and placed in a household envelope marked Thrivent Bridge Funding. The deadline is June 30th but as soon as we raise these funds we will receive this grant money. Thank you for your help in reaching this goal.
Missions: Don’t forget the Haiti relief for missions this Wednesday at Chapel.
Box Tops & Milk Caps: The contest is over tomorrow morning. Which classroom is going to win the ice cream?
Midterms: Midterm reports were distributed today. Please call your child’s teacher with any concerns.
Basketball: The girls beat Mount Calvary, Menasha down at FVL and then lost their next game to Trinity, Kaukauna. They played for 3rd place on Sunday against St. Peter, Freedom and lost a close one. Congratulations on a 4th place finish and a good tournament. Thank you coaches, Robin and Dean Delfosse and Chris Lararevski, for the time and effort you put into the season for these girls.
The boys 4-6 grade team will close out the season at St. Paul, Algoma on Feb. 27-28. They play on Saturday St. Mary’s, Algoma at 9:00 and St. Paul, Algoma at 11:00 in pool play. Their game on Sunday depends on the results Saturday.
Preschool Preview & LES Open House: Come join us for an evening of fellowship and a bit of “showing off” tomorrow night. Our Preschool Preview starts at 5:30. At the same time, everyone may enjoy our all school Open House. We will have pizza and entertainment at 6:30. Please return the slip below so we can plan the pizza accordingly.
Preschool Screening: Sturgeon Bay School District is hosting a free screening for four year old children on March 1 at Sunset school. This is for children in the Sturgeon Bay district who will be four by September 1 (3 year old screening is in the fall). This is available for our students as well. Call 746-5855 for an appointment.
Sincerely,
Mr. Paul Lutze, Principal
